I got my implant!

3 Remarks on “I got my implant!

  1. Oh my! so much has happened… I was having prelims. I am going to university for linguistics and German based on the results I have gotten so far! Anyway wowwow I am so happy for you in many ways. The American system is broken for healthcare, that is an insane price! but hey on the bright side, its here. things are going your way in that sense and thats really big. And a girlfriend! I am too happy for you, love is a great thing. I used to think I would never have a relationship either but I did – though we did break up LOL but it goes to show how nothing is impossible. I always think about the first time I stumbled upon this website and I do love looking at these posts and seeing all the little good things that come up. A little ray of hope. Well its just so great that things are going well in so many ways. As for the waiting period you mention that is quite interesting… in the UK the waiting list to even be officially put into services for trans people takes ages. It has been 4/5 years for me and I have heard nothing, I have heard it can take much longer than that, as there is a very large backlog and there are no services you can do, I don’t think I could afford private anyway. Ah well not to worry, sometimes you just have to keep waiting as thats all you can do, I’m sure you can understand seeing as you had to wait 2 years just for that!! Regardless, I am happy for you and I am still rooting for you and you have made great progress 🙂

  2. Bonjour 42! I always look forward to reading your comments. Sorry to hear about the breakup 🙁 never fun to have to do that, I know the waitlist for (public) trans healthcare is way too long, and the UK has a long way to go in terms of trans rights. I had a friend who was put on a waitlist that was ~7.5 years, and the pricing of private trans healthcare is astronomical pretty much across the board.

I hope we can get to a time in history where wait times are in months not years, then weeks not months. We take our small W’s where we can get them.

Anyway, thanks for taking time out of your, I assume busy schedule to come and read (and comment) on my blog.

    1. Anytime, reading your blogs has become a part of my routine whenever i’m free but yes let us hope for better times and take our Ws when we get the chance. I am content and happy after reading what I have missed. Life isn’t all too busy now though dissertations are to be done and businesses are to be run, I will always have time to visit your website. Breaking up is difficult but we must keep moving. Enough macabre from me!! too pessimistic. let us celebrate that you are doing so great. I admit the name 42 comes from books but also a fear of knowing people. I am scared of anyone I don’t truly know. I blame the autism, lmao. But I am not as bad as I used to be, I am always worried I come off too strong lol. Anyway anyway all taht to say i am so happy for you and you should be so so proud of yourself, you deserve all these things in your life and not to be so much of a nerd but your post you made “it doesnt matter” well i just feel so happy to have had a positive impact on someone, i have always wished to give others what i could not get!! anyway let me be crude for a last time before i rant: WOOOOO WOOOO WOOO GIRLFRIEND AND T BLOCKER YOU DID IT!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 the future is so bright
