It’s happening folks

On August 30th I had a visit with the fine people at OHSU(Oregon Health & Science University) in their Pediatric Endocrinology department. Within the next few months, I’m going to start HRT! During this time I will keep yall updated on what’s happening not only for me to talk about it but to help trans gals such as myself, as a path to guide yourself and get insight on the different things that happen.

I’m going to provide some information that I was given on my first visit (this is mainly regarding OHSU and what happens in Oregon, it may differ in your state)

About Puberty Blockers

I was given another paper but I can’t seem to find it on their website.

But as I see it as valuable information, I will provide a scan of the document here.

Hormone Therapy: Estrogen

Also, I would like to mention as I was looking for this info I had to search Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, the second result was a conservative shiting their pants over teaching trans gals how to tuck. They were calling it gross, to them, it might be but it’s not meant for you, it’s meant for the kid to have a resource to do it. Also, it was mostly men, don’t they find a prostate exam and or a physical exam on kids gross? Huh? Or is it just because they’re trans and want to learn about themselves?

Well, I digress, Im, going to go over what I chose quickly, for the uninitiated follow the About Puberty Blockers PDF from above. For me, I choose the implant for blockers a patch for estrogen as It seems like the least amount of fuss to get where I want to be.

I also have to get a new therapist, as mine doesn’t have enough experience with trans teens to write a letter of support for me, which is cool but sucks non the less.

I am the creator of the worst. Gal on the brink of a mental breakdown trying to hold it together. Join me as I riot!
