This can’t keep happening. This one hits way differently. If you are out of the loop there was a shooting at a Colorado LGBTQ nightclub, Known as Club Q. This is among the many hate-filled attacks against the LGBTQ+ community. This is why our community is scared, this is why we have to worry about where we go, and whos around, and this is why safe spaces are needed. But it seems that even safe spaces are becoming places of death. Only 5 months ago I talked about shooting when I should in theory never have to talk about shootings. The blood of thousands of people is on the hand’s Republicans. They have the choice to save millions of people, but no they are too self-centered to do that. Yes, there are illegal guns on the street but more people are dying to legal guns.
I want to get to a point in time where we can feel safe, and not have to worry about dying every 5 minutes. Safe spaces are necessary but are becoming more and more unsafe by the day.
All of Y’all can change the safety of everyone around you. Why can’t we just do it?
Vote on all gun control measures. if you are a safe gun owner you have nothing to worry about right? Why are you so scared?

Indeed another tragedy, America is the worst for gun deaths in the developed world. This is why i do not trust American democracy. Huge lobbying groups like the NRA can easily stomp any gun control measure. The shooter himself had claimed to be non-binary (in some attempt to spin it as not a hate crime???) which doesn’t mean anything of course. I do not want to get too political because I feel as though our opinions hugely differ. Unless you ask of course. But political action is needed. I have very specific ideas of what America should be but I mean who doesn’t? Stay safe, and know that this doesn’t represent the majority of people, even republicans (No i am not a republican).
