Are you aware that overturning RvW is among the dumbest things the Supreme Court has done?
I could go into a history tangent but we don’t have the time here.
Let’s get into this.
Im going to restate a lot of things that have been said, but I feel it’s important to state that all that has happened with abortion rights being banned is making people feel unsafe about getting them. Im going to state a few bullet points on what will happen when someone gets pregnant in a banned state.
- Get an unsafe abortion (most likely end up dead)
- Give birth to a baby and put it into the system.
- Give birth to a baby and kill it. (Filicide)
- Go to another state and get a safe abortion. (Best option)
I would prefer for people to go to a different state to have it done, but the reality is that most people can’t afford to have that arrangement made. So what is the next option? Putting the baby and put it into the system. The system of which is heavily underfunded and in most cases worse for the child. Now among the worst is getting an unsafe abortion, I don’t think I have to say much. Now the last option is to kill the baby once it’s born, which is Filicide which is illegal. I feel like life starts when the baby is born, not at fertilization, that view is absurd.
