Before I get started this is going to be more of a rant, rather than a coherent blog post.
Where do I even start? Fuck the Second Amendment. It is quite frankly bullshit that in 2022 people are still dying at the hands of some person that stopped by a gun store and picked up a gun like it was a pack of darts. I do know there is “Control” which in itself is an oxymoron, yes there is “background check” but they are subpar. No one ‘Needs’ guns, people want guns, I want estrogen but you don’t see me with it.
No one should go to school and have to worry about perhaps being killed because someone snapped. Scratch that anywhere it shouldn’t even be a thought that “Hmm, I could be shot and killed today.” Whilst kids are being killed in schools and on the streets healthcare is being controlled. It’s absurd that I could want anything that might change my body and then it’s not ok, but Kyle over there just got a submachine gun because it looked cool. The United state’s priorities are out of wack, but that’s what happens when old white men are in charge of the government.
I can’t wait for the day that no one has to worry about getting seriously hurt or killed, some people say “You just need to arm yourself!” No, I would rather jump headfirst into a wood chipper before I own a gun.
So the conclusion, If you are pro-guns please do a double-take in the mirror today and make sure your confederate flag pin looks good and your MAGA hat is on straight because anything other than that would be homosexual.
